ACCOMMODATION AND BREAKFAST OPTIONS
Bed & breakfast is charged at £45.50/night and without breakfast £35.40/night (prices include VAT). Breakfast is offered every morning, including the Sunday of our departure. If you decide to opt out of breakfast please use the kitchens in Purbeck House, rather than coming to the school refectory during that time. Cooking in the Purbeck kitchens is not permitted however, continental-style breakfasts only.
*Non-singing partners are welcome at a charge of £56.00 per night which relates solely to accommodation and breakfast at Bryanston, plus a contribution to the charges for the use of the campus (sports hall, tennis courts, parking areas, etc), and insurance.
MEALS OTHER THAN BREAKFAST OPTIONS
Those who arrive early enough on Sunday 9 August can join us for supper (buffet style, plenty of choice) in the Bryanston refectory from 5.45pm onwards, prior to the Sunday evening rehearsal. Our two Monday rehearsals are also on the Bryanston campus, so lunch that day is also in the school refectory for those who want it. Anyone preferring to share a cheaper ‘self-catered’ lunch in Purbeck House will be able to make arrangements with other members of the group following Sunday evening’s rehearsal. Do try to join one of the two groups rather than eat on your own; that way you will get to know your fellow singers. Supper/lunch in the school refectory costs £13.50 each, which will be added to your final bill, and we must give numbers in advance (the school charges VAT at 20% on the meals it provides).
After Evensong we tend to eat at a local pub, usually in small groups but occasionally all together if the pub can cope. Other (cheaper!) options in the boarding house are also explored, and there is usually a bring-and-share party on Friday night.
