Laudemus! (Latin for ‘let us praise!’) has been singing cathedral-style choral evensong in Dorset country churches annually since 1991.
During that time we have visited over 75 village or suburban churches, sung over 170 services of choral evensong, explored music from the 15th to the 21st century and had an amazingly good time. There’s a list here of all the places we’ve visited, and you can follow the other links at the top of this page to learn more about us. If you would like Laudemus! to sing choral evensong at your church during our annual visit to Dorset, please get in touch with the administrator, Clare Garner.
For details of which churches we are visiting, and what we will be singing, on our upcoming 2026 tour see our 2026 Tour page.
If you’d like to sing with us, or receive an annual update about where we are singing please click here. Thanks to the generosity of the Michael James Music Trust, the Ann Jane Green Trust and the Wimborne Minster Musical Heritage Trust, we are able to offer annual scholarships to those aged 18–25 and occasional bursaries to people of any age.
